# Templates Use Cases

This section Provides use cases/examples of the Templates Module

## **Use Case 1** <br />

* Let's assume that I own a staffing company, and I would like to email all of my staff members on the hours that they have worked and the money that they have received.

I would use the **Templates Module** for this. I would setup a `Hours Worked` profile that would have `Template Type` set to `Email Notification`, here I can then dynamically assign `Send To`,`Copy To`,`Blind Copy to`, `Subject` and I can insert values/text into the Body of the template.

I would then set the body of the template to what I want to say, then I can dynamically pass information to users, instead of having to rewrite the same email over and over.

## **Use Case 2** <br />

* Let's assume I am a taxi/bus company and I would like to give my customers a web page that they can access to view all of the routes and schedules. I would use the **Templates Module** for this.

I would configure a profile and set the `Template Type` to `Standard`, I would then change the `Editor Mode` to `HTML`. In the `Template Data` input box I would add HTML code to display dynamic data that I will be passing to the **Template** profile.

## **Use Case 3** <br />

* Let's assume that I own a marketing firm and I wanted to create a way to automatically update my CSS or my color scheme for my customer.

I could create a **Templates** profile that could achieve this. I would configure a profile and set the `Template Type` to `Standard`, I would then change the `Editor Mode` to `CSS`.

I would then add dynamic values in the `Template Data` that I would be passing through to the profile, which would then return back with the necessary CSS to implement the colour scheme that was passed through.
